Baldi Board
Baldi Board is a game about Baldi's Basics where you navigate through the board, avoiding bad squares, getting items, escaping from Baldi, going on field trips, and more.
Controls:
1, 2 and 3 to move. The number pressed represents the amount of squares you move.
P to pause the game.
Hold O and then move to use stamina to go faster.
Click or tap to get rid of Cloudy Copter and to collect firewood.
V0.2.11:
Running is now a toggle button: you no longer have to hold run to go faster; now you just press it once and the run button will stay on. To stop the run button, press it again.
It's a bully tree is no longer visible after a field trip.
V0.2.1:
Camping endless mode: There's now an endless mode for the camping field trip. The longer you go on, the harder it gets.
New camping characters: Cloudy Copter has been added; it blows wind into the fire, making it disappear faster. It's a bully has been added; he will disguise himself as a tree and will follow you slowly. If you touch him, he will steal all of your sticks.
Trees and camping ambiance are added: when playing the camping mode, some trees will appear. Some cricket sounds have been added; the smaller the fire gets, the less pitch they have.
Field trip rewards require fewer points.
Logs are now deposited by clicking on the fire: the more logs you have when you deposit, the bigger the impact each log has.
Slower fire: now the campfire takes more time to go out, but the logs give less fuel to the fire.
Camping time has been changed from 45 seconds to 60 seconds.
V0.2:
Mobile support: There's now an option on the menu screen to have mobile mode.
Johnny's store: All items are now available at Johnny's store. Every item has its own price, ranging from 100 YTP's for a quarter to 500 YTP's for the apple. Buying items gives points.
Tweaked field trips: Difficulty has been slightly reduced.
The black dot that triggers the ending sequence is no longer visible during field trips.
Pausing now pauses Baldi's countdown.
The number of points needed per grade has been increased. Now, instead of 500 being S, S rank is 1000 points, and every other grade is 200 points less.
V0.1.1:
The camping field trip is now much more forgiving.
A preset school layout has been added.
Field trips now require more points to get each reward.
YTP's and points have been added.
Grades have been added. The more special squares you land on and risks you take, the better the grade.
B+1 and Notebook squares now change Baldi angry meter by 2 instead of 1.
V0.1:
Brand new camping field trip: The camping field trip has been completely remade, and now you need to collect firewood quickly to make the fire grow. It uses the mouse cursor.
Playground squares: There are playground squares that generate with a tree. The tree has a small chance to generate with an apple. Get to the square with the apple in the tree with a grappling hook to get the apple.
An apple for Baldi: An apple for Baldi has been added. Has a very small chance of spawning but can also spawn in trees. When Baldi gets you, he will eat the apple for 11 seconds, giving you time to escape.
Grappling hook: The grappling hook has been added. Has a very small chance of spawning. Right now, it only gives you apples when getting to apple trees, but more uses for it are planned.
Stamina bar: The stamina has been changed from a variable to a stamina bar.
Baldi speed rework: Now Baldi slaps slightly faster.
Baldi angry meter rework: The angry meter now has a much smaller impact on Baldi's speed, but it is incremented a lot faster.
Baldi ruler event: Now the ruler break event isn't just a sound removal of the slap sound, but now Baldi will not be able to get you while his ruler is broken.
Code reorganization: The code has been reorganized, which should cause less lag and make updates a bit quicker.
School music fix: The school music during Baldi's countdown doesn't get quieter the further away you move from Baldi.
Farming field trip removed: The farming field trip is currently not in the game, but I'll re-add it soon when I make a new version.
Prototype v2.1:
Additions:
- Stamina has been added. Standing still gives you 1 stamina every 30th of a second. Use stamina to walk at 2 times the speed. Walking 1 square costs 10 stamina, walking 2 squares costs 25 stamina, and walking 3 squares costs 40 stamina.
- Zesty bar rework. Makes stamina recover 1 + zesty bar count every 30th of a second. If you have 3 zesty bars, you will obtain 4 stamina per 30th of a second.
- Added notebook squares. When collecting a notebook, the "Baldi angry" meter will increase by 1, but you will obtain 750 stamina, which will go down by 1 every 30th of a second. Since you can't recover more than 100 stamina, this is "infinite stamina" for a few seconds.
- Added a pause screen.
Fixes:
- Baldi and the player are no longer visible during the generating process.
- The dice is no longer visible when starting a field trip.
Prototype v2.0:
- Quarters now appear much less frequently.
- Baldi's animation for slapping has been slightly changed.
- Warning sound has been added when the timer gets to 0.
- Variables for items now show which item each variable is, and they are now on the top of the screen.
- Baldi's speed has been reworked. Now he only moves 3 tiles, but he slaps much quicker.
- A "generating" screen has been added when the board is generating.
- Item variables are now hidden during the Baldi jumpscare, during field trips, and during the victory screen.
- Backgrounds for both field trips have been added.
- A black background is now present during the board section of the game.
- Events have been added! Every 18-30 seconds, an event will begin. There are currently 2 events:
· Ruler broken: Baldi's ruler can break, making him silent. (I intend on adding more to this event)
· Test procedure: 12 to 30 superdoors will randomly generate on the board, and they will close when the event occurs. When they are closed, you can still go through them, but they will almost completely block the tile they are over.
Prototype v1.2:
Additions:
Baldi move rework. Now Baldi slaps slightly faster, but moves 1 tile less per slap.
Field trip rewards rework. Now field trips give you items instead of lowering the Baldi angry meter. If you fail, all items will be set to 0
The test. The test can now appear, but it is very rare, a bit rarer than field trips. If you land on it, Baldi will move a lot faster.
Fixes:
Bean's gum now doesn't stay when restarting the game when the gum was visible.
Zesty bars now don't deplete during field trips.
The timer now starts when Baldi starts moving.
Prototype v1.1:

Victory screen with placeholder text and a Baldi congratulation voice line.
Jumpscare added when Baldi catches you, making you lose.
Jumpscare added when losing in a field trip.
Sounds when getting jumpscared, getting hit by beans, eating a zesty bar, landing on a B+1 square and using a quarter on a vending machine have been added.
Fixes:
Baldi is now in the correct x coordinates when starting the game.
Prototype 1:
Baldi chases you. He moves every few seconds 5 squares. The time he takes to slap is 3 seconds - baldi angry / 3. He gains Baldi angry every time you land on a red square with the "no" sign, after a certain amount of squares traveled, during lights out he gains baldi angry quickly, and if you fail a field trip, he also goes a bit quicker.
Squares:
Normal square: A green square where nothing happens.
B+1 square: Adds 1 to Baldi angry.
Field trip square: Go on a field trip. It might have camping or farming baldi.
Beans square: Land on it and you'll get a lot slower for 10 seconds.
Zesty bar square: Adds 1 to the zesty bar counter. Each zesty bar makes the cooldown for moving a bit quicker. Every 10 seconds, you lose a zesty bar.
Bully square: Gets rid of 1 of each item if landed on.
Quarter square: Gives you 1 quarter.
Zesty bar machine square: If you have 1 or more quarters, it exchanges a quarter for a zesty bar.
End square: Ends the game. (Not done yet)
